The Florida Sustainable Transportation & Technology Expo was held at the University of Central Florida FSEC (Florida Solar Energy Center) Energy Research Center) at Cocoa, Florida, this past March 30-31, 2022.
The event was organized by the Central Florida Clean Cities Coalition (CFLCCC) and the Florida Association of Government Fleet Administrators (FLAGFA) to share the latest developments in alternative fuels, vehicles, and equipment with assistants.
An important number of exhibitors and attendees as well as the other Florida Clean Cities Coalitions had the opportunity to explore and experience the latest technological advances in alternative fuels and vehicles, and non-road equipment.
Representatives from the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services and the Florida Department of Transportation were sharing the new policies in the area. At the same time, several cities officials discussed and shared their experiences on alternatives fuels, along with representatives from a diverse set of related to the field companies.
The main organizer, the Central Florida Clean Cities Coalition is sponsored by the US Department of Energy. It supports sustainable transportation practices through efforts to advance the deployment of alternative fuel technologies, mass transit projects, and fleet optimization measures throughout our coalition territory as well as with other Clean Cities Coalitions throughout Florida.
The Central Florida Clean Cities Coalition territory encompasses a ten-county area consisting of Brevard, Flagler, Indian River, Lake, Okeechobee, Orange, Osceola, Seminole, St. Lucie, and Volusia Counties.
BDLA has the opportunity to share experiences and promote its work in the area of Biodiesel with a good number of attendees and expects to continue its collaboration with the Central Florida Clean Cities Coalition.
